Ribbed Smoked Sheets (RSS)

Thailand's rubber production has been skewed in favour of smoked rubber sheets, which in the 1990s accounted for as much as 66% of the total rubber produced in the country.

In recent years there had been a decline in the share of rubber sheets and an increase in that of block rubbers but yet total production of RSS increased to 1.3 million tons in 2004.

Demand for Southland group RSS on the other hand had increased and our market share stepped up from less than 10% ten years ago to about 20% today.
